Wolf Ranks
Alpha Male- One of the head Alphas. The Alpha Male is the one who mainly leads the pack and keeps it in order. His mate is the Alpha Female.
Alpha Female- She also keeps the pack in order. Her mate is the Alpha Male. The Alpha Female makes sure all the pups and pup-mothers are safe. She is the only one to bare the Alpha Male's pups.
Beta- Is the second in command, like a deputy. Takes charge when the Alpha Female becomes a pup-mother for a short time or when the Alpha Male is away.
Hunters- They protect and hunt for the pack. The Hunters also train the Pre-Hunters. They are under the command of the Alpha Male, Female and Beta only.
Pre-Hunters- In training to become hunters. They are trained by the hunters. They can only join in hunting when their mentor is with them, but they can fight whenever they have to.
Pup-Mothers- These are the female wolves who are expecting pups or nursing pups. They also care for the young.
Pups- They are not allowed out of camp and are required to saty with the pup-mothers. For they are the future of the pack.
Dog Ranks
Leader- Is in command of the whole pack. There is no deputy or beta in the dog packs, for they don't believe in co-commanders. Is allowed to have a mate(even the females). When absent, the leader is required to choose one wolf to be in command while he/she is gone or(in a female's case) becomes a pup-mother.
Guards- They are required to guard and protect the camp at all costs. They are no hunters, bu if they really need to they will hunt.
Hunters- These dogs are required to hunt for the pack only. If they really need to, they will fight for their pack.
Novices- In training to become a guard or hunter. They are required to have a mentor, and to choose what they want to become(a guard or hunter)
Pup-Mothers- The female dogs who are expecting or nursery pups. Also, they care for the young.
Pups- They are allowed to leave the camp, but only when they are with their mother. At dangerous times, they muse go into hiding with the pup-mothers.
